The result of predicting the future (IM 568)

We often spend days on predicting how our action will shape and impact our future and most of the time we are wrong. And we spend rest of the days worrying about the action and regret that our prediction didn’t go our way.

We try to control our future by sitting in a small room and having the conversation with peers or by executing on a simple thoughts, which is just insane to me.

What if, instead of fretting and fuming, we simply did our best in the present? And let the future take care of itself because, even if we plan for it, the future is going to take care of itself anyway.
