Stoic moments (IM 757)

Stoicism is not the philosophy for school. It’s a philosophy for life. Courage, Self-discipline, Justice and Wisdom. It’s about putting these ideas into action. Throw away your books, Marcus Aurelius once said. “Don’t talk about what a good man is like; be one.”

The story of Marcus Aurelius, Theodore Roosevelt, John Lewis, Michael Jordan, Cato; the younger, Porcia Cato, Jackie Robinson, all displayed the stoic moments in their life that can’t be forgotten.  They all displayed courage, wisdom, temperance, and  virtue.
